Today, Bjorn, Jacqi, and I, went to flickr. It was rad.

Bjorn noticed their address was given on their website, they even provide a map just incase. It's like an invitation! We decided to make the trip, Matt, Bjorn's roomate, called it a pilgrimage... maybe that's over the top a bit, maybe not.

Arriving at 1040 Hamilton Street (yale town) was unbearably exciting, Bjorn was like a little school boy and almost wet his pants. We weren't sure what we were in for, though we thought we might have to sneak in, or squeeze through some gate. Whatever it was, we were ready.

We got to the front door, and easily enough, it was open... The excitement builds - walking down the empty halls halfway expecting a random business person to sudenly appear and kick us out. We locate their door upstairs, suite 201. Now what? Well, we still don't know, I guess we just wanted to see what it is like there, maybe meet some flickr people, and snap a few off.

"Knock Knock" We anxiously wait for the door to slowly open not knowing what to expect. The only thing I could think to do was snap a picture off of the guy behind the door who turned out to be Cal. They welcomed us in, nobody knew what to do, but it sure was exciting. There wasn't really anything to see I guess, well, they didn't really show us anything. Of course everything is top secret. Right now they said they have been focusing on growth and havn't been able to do much creative stuff, but are excited to do that again soon. Yeah, it was awkward... we didn't really know what to say so we just took some photos of each other and that was about it. It seems like a really cool place to work, especially because of their strange random visitors. We left non-confrontationally ;)

We decided that it would be best to have brought something like doughnuts or cake and it wouldn't have been so strange. We figgure, there's always next time.
